Luke... the videographer.
The past couple of days have had me doing some videography... territory that is definitely new to me. Most of those who know me know that I am pretty much exclusively a stills photographer. I love capturing stills - and that's pretty much it. But having a 5D mark iii has really given me the option of doing some videography on the side.
It just so happened that this week I was asked to do videography, twice! The first time was on Wednesday during a basketball camp hosted by Ben McLemore. I had to film three short clips of Ben talking about his experience at the camp and to also promote his other camp coming up later on in the summer. The camps are done by iSG. Check them out here: http://isgcamps.com/.
My second videography opportunity came when I was contacted out of the blue by my friend Donna. Her friend Sheila was looking for someone to shoot some video during the Kings pre-draft workout sessions. I shot Sheila's introduction as well as Cameron Payne's media scrum. Check out the finished video here: http://collegeinsider.com/sheila-mikailli/c146/dream-about-to-be-realized.
Shooting video this week was a great experience. Both opportunities this week has really given me a lot more confidence in my video capabilities. I'd be happy to shoot video for anybody who needs some quick video done!
