Bonnie's House is For SALE!
My friend Bonnie messaged me regarding her cozy house in Davis last week. She’s currently in Oregon for school and is looking to sell her property in Davis. I was asked to take some real estate photos of her house so that she could use them in her ads. I was happy to help her, but also a bit sad as it is a lovely house - and I’ll miss going to it and hanging out over there!
The house is absolutely perfect for a couple or small family to live in. Bonnie did an amazing job of cleaning and getting the house ready for its next owner. As Bonnie’s photographer, it was my job to make the house look as spacious and as inviting as possible. To get photographs that really show off as much of the house as possible, I had to use my ultra-wide 12-24 f4 zoom lens. This special lens is way wider than what most people are used to working with. It’s wonderful for photographing in tight spaces as well as landscapes out in nature.
I’ve done a few real estate shoots already, but it’s not something that I advertise that I do. Bonnie says that maybe I should! But it’s such a niche type of photography that I’m hesitant to really put a lot of effort into advertising for it. Maybe if I get more work in this realm I’lll consider adding a real estate photography page to my main site. For now, people who know me can just ask if they are in need of real estate photos.
If you are interested in purchasing Bonnie’s house, please let me know and I can get you in contact with her. She is selling it without an agent so as to save on some of the fees. She’s great to work with and I’m sure you will come to some sort of agreement on price! Let me know if you are in need of real estate photography or Bonnie’s contact!
